Today I am going to write about Pepto Bismol pills.
If I was 636benjamin, this would the the Awesomosity for the Day. (Oh yeah, go vote on his poll!)
Back before I discovered these, and back in senior year of high school when my stomach started acting up, our little "dance team nurse" Jen Nguyen would offer me one of those chewable peptos to get me through practice. Despite the taste, I was amazed at how much less I wanted to hurl after eating one. They were magic!
Then it got real bad, and I forgot about pepto for years and instead downed bottles of Tums and Rolaids, which didn't really do much.
Then, I was in Walgreens one day (I do love that store) and I saw the pills. What? No goopy cold minty pink crap to drink when I'm already nauseous? No chalky chewable that gets stuck in my teeth? I just swallow and go? These have saved my life since that discovery a couple years ago and I don't leave home without them.
I just want to say, thank you, Pepto Bismol people.
SO. I cant figure out how to make a blog on your blog or whatever it is im supposed to be doing, P.S. this is my blog.
ReplyDeletei actually prefer the liquid personally, but the convenience of the swallowables is nice.
ReplyDeletefyi: if you take some before you sleep you'll have a black tongue in the morning
